As we embrace Global Holistic Wealth Day, it’s important to engage in transformative practices that elevate our experiences and deepen our understanding of holistic wealth. From mindful meditation sessions at sunrise to embracing sustainable living, Global Holistic Wealth Day offers a unique opportunity to nurture our minds, bodies, and spirits.

We have even heard of couples now tying the knot on Global Holistic Wealth Day, April 9th, incorporating holistic wealth into their wedding ceremonies and honeymoons—an ode to a holistically wealthy lifestyle.

Some have even included the Holistic Wealth Expanded and Updated book in their destination wedding welcome bags. Others have used the book in their wellness retreats, corporate retreats, schools, and workshops. Wedding photographers have monogrammed their favourite quote from the book alongside wedding portraits of the bride and groom:

In today’s world, marked by a mental health epidemic and a loneliness epidemic, coupled with burnout and work stress, rising costs of living, and increasing inequality, Global Holistic Wealth Day is more essential than ever. As individuals grapple with the pressures of daily life, from financial stresses to societal expectations, the need for a holistic approach to wellbeing is more important than ever.

Global Holistic Wealth Day addresses the interconnected aspects of our lives. By prioritizing our mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing, and our relationships, alongside financial stability, Global Holistic Wealth Day provides a roadmap for navigating the challenges of modern life with resilience and grace. In a world where the pursuit of material wealth often comes at the expense of our health and happiness, Global Holistic Wealth Day reminds us to seek balance and fulfillment in all areas of our lives.

My husband died at age 34, he started dying at work but didn’t leave because he had a long line up of colleagues outside his office waiting for him to check their work. He stayed to check their work and left work at the end of the day and died three hours later in a hospital emergency room.

I started my holistic wealth journey with a one-year sabbatical, where I incorporated mindful meditation, sustainable living and holistic healing principles in my day-to-day living.

I coined the term “Holistic Wealth” with the release of the first book on holistic wealth that sparked a global movement of more than 50 million people. Through the Institute on Holistic Wealth and the Holistic Wealth podcast, many more lives have been transformed.

Now, we have more than 25 Global Holistic Wealth Day Ambassadors from more than 25 countries. This is separate from our Holistic Wealth Trailblazers, who continue to reach over 50 million people through their various platforms. We continue to advocate for a more inclusive world, women’s empowerment, and girls’ achievement of their dreams.

Financial Empowerment is the new feminism. Women can’t be fully empowered until they are financially empowered.

  3. As you observe the sun’s gentle rays, allow your thoughts to come and go without judgment, simply acknowledging them before returning your focus to the present moment.

Embracing Sustainable Living:

My husband loved nature, and he planted flowers and created a living garden, with pink and white peonies and other beautiful flowers, at the front of our house in Ottawa. Those flowers began to bloom in the weeks after he died. I felt like my heart was going to burst. They were coming to life, and he was gone.
