Argos in Cappadocia, an ancient monastery turned luxury hotel, is made up of nine mansions carved into the cliffs of Turkey’s charming village of Uçhisar.

A Stunning Boutique Property with a Unique Design

Featuring cave guestrooms, underground tunnels, and a cascading hillside garden, the stunning boutique property overlooks the breathtaking valleys of the ancient region, which boasts dreamlike views of fairy chimneys and hot air balloons every morning at sunrise.

It is home to 71 rooms and suites, each featuring its own unique design and layout with rustic niches and corners shaped by the region’s volcanic rocks.

The hotel has multiple restaurants, one of the largest natural underground wine cellars in Europe, as well as a state-of-the-art fitness facility and outdoor swimming pool that offers views of Mount Erciyes and Güvercinlik Valley.

In 2024, taking advantage of the naturally-formed sanctuaries lent by the region’s landscape, Argos in Cappadocia opened Turkey’s largest cave spa and one of the most atmospheric places for wellness in the world.

The Cave Spa: Where Heritage Meets Modern Wellness

Constructed by local stonemasons and architects, the cave Spa at Argos is nestled within one of the grandest monastery complexes dating back to the 1800s, offering guests a unique experience that blends the region’s rich cultural heritage with modern spa techniques.

Step inside and embark on a sensory adventure guided by a four-fold philosophy: energize, harmonize, cleanse, and indulge. Each category represents a facet of the human experience, offering guests a pathway to rediscover their inner equilibrium and vitality. The approach is humble yet uncompromising, focusing on quality, authenticity, and purposeful design.

The body treatments reflect the essence of Cappadocia, drawing inspiration from ancient traditions and infused with the healing properties of local flora. While the massages and unique journeys transport visitors to a state of blissful relaxation and renewal, the facial treatments offer a touch of luxury with the renowned brand Valmont, balancing local authenticity with global excellence.

Spa Amenities and Tailor-Made Experiences

In addition to the unique treatments that range from the locally inspired Lavender Seed and Sea Salt Scrub to Hammer and Chisel Therapy, guests also have access to the cave spa’s amenities which include a sauna, whirlpool, Turkish bath, indoor swimming pool, and Wellbeing Bar that serves health fare.

To ensure a truly balanced wellness escape, the hotel also offers tailor-made experiences including full moon treks, sunrise yoga, local cooking classes, scenic picnics, hot air balloon viewing experiences, and much more.
