Nested above the riverbank overlooking the Columbia River, Basecamp Resorts’ newest hotel in British Columbia, Basecamp Revelstoke, will officially open its doors on December 3, 2020.

The boutique hotel’s location greatly influenced the overall design strategy where ground floor units anchor the buildings into the mountainside, reminiscent of the historic local dam.  Above, two-storey townhouse units are “deposited” in the direction of the flowing river. capturing stunning southwest views. Inside, vaulted living spaces capitalize on the exceptional scenery and mountain adventures waiting beyond.

Basecamp Revelstoke was built entirely energy efficient to reduce its impact on the environment. The building produces minimal greenhouse gas emissions, uses low amounts of water and was made with less waste. Guests can expect a healthy indoor environment with minimal allergens, easy to breathe air, consistent room temperatures, and a substantial reduction in sound from outside sources.

The 32-unit property is situated just a short walk from downtown Revelstoke, overlooking the Columbia River and only a 15-minute drive to the world-famous Revelstoke Mountain Resort. Designed for active families and adventure seekers, Basecamp provides epic views, modern amenities, and top-notch service along with all of the comforts of home.

From its inception, Basecamp Resorts adopted a completely automated check-in system that enables guests to access units via private, exterior entrances without having any physical contact with staff or other guests. Basecamp’s unique design has proven to be a lifeline in this new world of COVID-19, providing guests with an incredible vacation option in these uncertain times.

All suites are equipped with remote keyless entry, full kitchen, washer and dryer, complimentary wireless internet, flat-screen LED TV with cable, Stearns and Foster mattresses, linens and towels, private patio with outdoor seating, complimentary parking, and access to the front desk staff 24/7.
