The boutique hotel’s location greatly influenced the overall design strategy where ground floor units anchor the buildings into the mountainside, reminiscent of the historic local dam.  Above, two-storey townhouse units are “deposited” in the direction of the flowing river. capturing stunning southwest views. Basecamp Revelstoke was built entirely energy efficient to reduce its impact on the environment. The building produces minimal greenhouse gas emissions, uses low amounts of water and was made with less waste. Guests can expect a healthy indoor environment with minimal allergens, easy to breathe air, consistent room temperatures, and a substantial reduction in sound from outside sources.

The 32-unit property is situated just a short walk from downtown Revelstoke, overlooking the Columbia River and only a 15-minute drive to the world-famous Revelstoke Mountain Resort. From its inception, Basecamp Resorts adopted a completely automated check-in system that enables guests to access units via private, exterior entrances without having any physical contact with staff or other guests.
